17 October 2018: Leading global sports communications expert Ben Nichols has today launched a new, eponymous Communications Consultancy, Ben Nichols Communications.
Based in the United Kingdom but with an international focus, Ben Nichols Communications offers organisations, teams, athletes, events and brands cutting edge Public Relations and Communications Strategies that turn heads, and specialises in putting brands with untapped potential “firmly on the map”.
Building on Nichols’ diverse communications experience – in a career which has taken him from the U.K. to the U.S.A and from the U.A.E. to Canada –Ben Nichols Communications offers clients six different specialist services: Strategic PR; CriComms (Crisis Communications); Media Relations; Digital and Social; Public Affairs; and Editorial, Speechwriting and Copywriting.

Ben Nichols is the former head of Media Relations and Chief Spokesperson for the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and, most recently, was Director of Communications and Public Affairs for the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF). He was Chief Press Officer of the award-winning ATP and WTA Dubai Tennis Championships for two years, and has previously worked with clients including Lotus Renault GP (F1), the University Boat Race, The All England Lawn Tennis Championships (Wimbledon), the Australian Open, NBA Europe, Perform Group, the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency and Athletics Integrity Unit.
